Terms of Service for Weave

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Weave, a timeline-ordering game operated by an individual developer ("we", "us", "our").

By using Weave, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1) Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. If you are under required age in your jurisdiction, use only with required parental/guardian permission.

2) Accounts

Some features may require sign-in through Clerk. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure.

• Activity under your account.

• Providing accurate account information as required by the authentication provider.

We may suspend or terminate access if accounts are used in ways that violate these Terms or applicable law.

3) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Weave for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity.

• Interfere with or disrupt service operation.

• Attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or other users' accounts.

• Reverse engineer, scrape at abusive rates, or bypass protective measures.

• Upload abusive, infringing, or malicious content (including avatars).

4) User Content

If you upload content (for example, avatar images), you grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content as needed to provide the service.

You represent that you have rights to upload your content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

5) Intellectual Property

Weave, including software, design, branding, and curated game content, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as permitted by law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

6) Privacy

Your use of Weave is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

7) Availability and Changes

We may modify, pause, or discontinue any part of Weave at any time, with or without notice.

8) Disclaimers

Weave is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for claims relating to Weave will not exceed the amount you paid us for Weave in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50 if you paid nothing.

10) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of Weave, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11) Termination

You may stop using Weave at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for risk, abuse, legal reasons, or Terms violations.

12) Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of: United States.

Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in: United States, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
